Advantages of the Rolled Hollow Section Design
There are many advantages to using rolled hollow section
as a cooling medium in the construction of a water cooled component.
The unit is very cost competitive and it gives longevity
in areas of extreme heat load. The use of the internal "water
cooled" welds at every change of section to section , ensures the
integrity of these joints. The unit is repairable and does not need
to be discarded prematurely.
Any damage which occurs can simply be cute away and new
sections installed. This can be undertaken by our customers in their
workshops, utilizing section supplied by us complete with detailed
instructions. Alternatively the damaged unit can be returned to our
us for refurbishment.
Rolled hollow section allows a 100% water cooled unit to
be constructed. The need for infill plates where return bends re
used in equipment designed using round pipes is eliminated.

operation for many years without and leaks or downtime being experienced
by our customers during normal furnace operation.
